Blood Test
I don't know how my Mom does it. She has had heart arrythmia from being born under-weight all her life, subjecting herself to countless doctor visits and prescription medication, but she doesn't complain. Nor does she scream her way through the hospital like I did today when I was getting my first blood test at a hospital in Korea. Should have been short and easy three blood tests, but between forgetting to bring the "외뢰서" and realizing yesterday's testing fees were no joke while going through payment, I lost my temper and screamed at the blood workers to whom I'd given away a whole slew of my weight and height, which isn't a smart thing to do. One thing I did correctly was not pay attention to the professional healthworkers screening for COVID-19 more tightly since last week, knowing all the final tests they were running on patients. Thank goodness I had been there yesterday, getting tested by a specialized doctor - I didn't have to worry "getting caught" so to speak. Can't wait for the results to be out next week. Thank goodness it's over.
